Established by Max McCuddy, whose family has owned and operated McCuddy’s Marina in Portland, Oregon since the 1950s, our agency was built on decades of firsthand experience in marina operations, management, and ownership.

Having grown up in the marine industry, Max recognized a persistent challenge faced by marina owners, yacht clubs, and marine operators alike: finding an insurance agency that truly understood the complexities of marine risks. Too often, businesses were left working with generalist agencies that claimed to “specialize” in everything.
